CARTHAGE. Second Punic War. Circa 220-201 BC. 1/4 Stater (Gold, 13 mm, 1.86 g, 12 h), circa 203-201. Head of Tanit to left, wearing wreath of grain ears. Rev. Horse standing right. Jenkins & Lewis Group XIV, 464-467. MAA 76. Rare. Some marks, otherwise, very fine.

Privately acquired from Aphrodite Gallery on 23 June 2013, ex Heritage 3021, 6-7 January 2013, 21137 and previously acquired from RCP (Coral Springs, Florida) on 31 August 1998.
